Value and Attribution

In nearly the blink of an eye the value of a work can plummet. No, not because it's been destroyed by flood, fire or ferrets. Just because its attribution changes. For the latest case, see the so-called Gaugain sculpture in the Getty Museum. OK, you can't actually go to see it, since it's been put in storage.
